Good point

For a short flash I like it. Sound quality was good but could have been a little louder. Graphics were average nothing to fancy; enough to capture your point. The animation did lack in a couple places(no real walking just quick action) but you still did speed properly for the most part.

Overall I think you have done very well. Good luck with future animations.

Thanks for a helpful review! I was mainly practicing different shot angles but I do wish I had more animation in it.

Taking a good deal into consideration

For a first animation this is not half-bad although there is not a lot here, you took me by surprise when you reflected the sticks on the ground. The animation was also very smooth and the time frame control was a nice touch. Overall this is good for a first try, I naturally recommend a story and preloader in your next animation.

Good job, you have the potential to make something great I'll keep watch for your next flash(if you decide to do anymore). Good luck.

SkatingRobert responds:

Thanks for the comment, but I have to tell you this is my first FINISHED stickman combo, I made more before, but didn't submit them because of the high epic-fail factor but I have more work on my old account, FreeRunRobert, search it up on newgrounds.

Since it got hacked and I stopped FreeRunning (rofl) I made this new account.

Interesting Idea

The graphics fits the music(I do not know how to explain but it fits it very well) and the animation is toon like in nature adding some more humor to it. I was not expecting the joke at the end the whole time actually to the end. Overall this was done well for a short flash, good work.

I listented to the song over 1000 times just so I could think of ways to keep things in sync. I know it by heart now...

Hmmmmmm....

I decided to split mine into sections due to it's length:

Animation/Graphics: The graphics were decent, and animation was ok. Adding hands to all the characters will improve the layout a bit, feet would be another anatomical feature that is missing(everyone might be wearing dresses). Movement was decent as the characters slid around the room.

Audio/Animation(mouth): Lip syncing is a difficult task and attempting it was a good try, however the mouths fly all over the characters mouth. Try keeping the mouth in one position, changing the size and slight alterations to shape could express words better. Even though this is not my kind of song I will ignore this as the scene corresponds to the song well.

Overall this was not bad for a music video, just needs a little more touching up here and there. Good luck on your next submission.

Thanks.

Okay, I'll take the hands and mouths into account!

Thanks again!

Variety of songs

Overall presentation is great. However some of the songs were so low that even with max volume I had trouble hearing them. Clearly a lot of work was put into this collab and it shows.I do not believe "All your base are belong to us" is a song, it seems out of place.

Thank you

Looks good

I myself have several unfinished flash projects I have stored away and left in the dust. Overall the organization is very well, except for the lack of a scene selection. Several animations and plots, with various entertainment. Some of the pieces such as the vomiting man were just weird. For the most part I enjoyed the collab. Great work.

Thanks for the review!

Good

The graphics are decent, however the animation is what attracts the eye in this flash. The sound was gently calming, and the cube transforming into a message was an interesting twist. Good work.

Thanks, I liked the music too. It fit nicely, props to Vegetarianmeat

Unique

You caught me off guard with the drawing style, although the graphics were not that grand, I completely ignored this because of the way you created the shapes. The sound was soothing, no pre loader but there was an animation to watch as it loaded. However the gun scene goes by rather fast, and the "Boring ?" that appears on the screen is not needed. Congratulations, you surprised me(has not happened in a while), good job.

sprittusj responds:

That review made my day:D
Yeah notised the hgun scene after i submitted it.

Good for a first

Animation was good, sound was decent though the repeating scream clip with a thud at the end was a little obvious, the joke was all right. Overall for a first flash this is amazing, you are on your way . Good luck.

Rovertarthead responds:

Thanks dude i did have little trouble with the sound but i did the best i could with that. Im gonna make a second one later.

Getting Better

Graphics were good, the pre loader was unique, and had a short story. All you need is to add more length to your flashes and you will be on your way to producing high quality work. If you have any issues with coming up with a story, there's bound to be a writer somewhere on ng.

Flees responds:

Thank you :) I have some ideas that are a little out of my reach right now, dealing with a short narrative I did as well as an animated version of my comic. I'll get there someday hopefully. Though collaborating with a writer would be fun.

I'm a struggling flash artist trying his best to come up with a decent flash and submit it to newgrounds. If I can improve my drawing skills then my flashes will greatly improve until then I'm stuck with crappy flash projects.
