Simplicity can sometimes mean perfection

It's rather awe inspiring and effective for something this simple. I can't find anything to critique here or maybe I'm just hypnotized by it.

A beautiful mix of tones and even after listening to it on loop a few times; I still enjoy it.

Congratulations on this currently unknown masterpiece.

Thank you, your kind reviews allways motivate me.

Good

I get a Latin feel from it; made me think I was watching a western movie where something tragic had happened to the hero. Since you know your mistakes I'll leave them out. Even for a demo it's still enjoyable.

As for a name, hmmm.... I'll make a short list(whichever you like or if you don't like any just ignore them lol)

Names: Ballad of the Tumbleweed
Gunslinger Woes
A mile to San Antonio
Caravan of Dust
Memories in the Sand
Generosity of a Stranger

Bobox responds:

First of all, thank you for taking the time to read the description above. As for the name suggestions, most of them sound awesome, and I'm pretty sure I'll use one of those, "A mile to San Antonio" sounds perfect, but I also liked that tragic hero story idea. I'm glad that it inspired you to come up with so many names for it, it means that I'm on the right track with this one. Thanks again for your kind, motivating review, cheers ;)

Nice effects

For a large portion of the song it was a loop until you begin to hear the storm brewing near the end. I do not mind the storm near the end, however it seems to drag on as the rain fads away. I would suggest shortening the song by 1.5-2 minutes, to eliminate some of the repetitiveness. Adding more variation would help as well, very few additions or changes are made throughout the song. I understand this is an emotional song, and have to admit the rain effects along with the thunder are well done. Overall it is all right, and with a little tweaking it would be great.

Thanks for the review, I agree it needs some changes. If I end up putting it into an album I'll have it fade out into the next song to cut off some of the end, along with adding some more variation. For now though, I think it's good enough and I don't want to resubmit a different version.

A long journey

Huge 7 minute songs often loses appeal, I suggest cutting it down a couple minutes. For the most part I could get into the song, although it gets a bit repetitive. However at around 5 and half minutes I lost interest(I am not trying to insult you), repetitiveness can ruin any song(I have done this myself).

The ending was a nice touch, however the length of the song is was truly devastates it's appeal. Overall the song is ok, a few tweaks here and there could greatly improve it.

Yeah, I feel with practice I should be able to tidy things up and add more variation to my music without cluttering.
Thanks.

Not bad

Has a relaxed feel to it, yet with an upbeat tempo. The soft transition that occurs at around 1 minute is longer then I expected. I admit it adds a gentle flow for a while, however it seems a little out of place compare to the rest of the song. Shortening it by about 10-15 (although this is not much time) I believe it would make a big difference.

Possibly changing the tempo(slightly faster) in some areas(about 2 minutes in) would improve it(seems like a faster beat would keep the excitement heard throughout the piece). Overall the song is good.

Thanks for your advice, the soft transitions was kind of rushed. :/ I had this idea but never could work it out properly. So i kind of just left it there. I will fix it in the final version :).

Interesting

Great idea, though I wasn't done listening when the song ended so I listened to the loop a few times. Good work for a short clip.

I'm a struggling flash artist trying his best to come up with a decent flash and submit it to newgrounds. If I can improve my drawing skills then my flashes will greatly improve until then I'm stuck with crappy flash projects.
