Well it can be a little obvious sometimes with the consistency of markers(obviously seen with the attempt in the background) but it still keeps with the various characters. The mermaids nose could use a little work as the shading tries to make me think that it's a more realistic nose while the shape drawn hints more of a cartoon like one. Based on the shape of the nose it might have been better to avoid shading all together or just faintly(appears too dark to me)

I'm not entirely sure why there is a flower bubble in the scene(or maybe it's a starfish trapped in a bubble?) but it doesn't really seems to fit almost like a random fly on the paper.

Other than the minor critiques above; the remaining features of the picture are drawn rather well and maybe the white octopus's suckers could use a finer stroke to highlight them while some almost seem a little too squarish.

Overall this picture captures the viewer well and is rather impressive considering it was largely done with markers.

Well the background I had a issue with my true blue color, it was dying as i was finishing the background, so i had to go over it with another color to give it more of a full look to it. Understandable, I went for a cartoon-y look, but you are right with the shading idea. Oh, that yellow thing your right about, but I guess it was just kind of a random thing, but you are right.

Thankful this has been helpful. :)

Rather interesting depiction of what I believe is to be jesus(going by the tag). Lighting up the hair correctly and adding a bit of sunshine really adds to this piece. Even the splatter along the image adds the idea that it was a possible speed paint(was it?).

The shorts lack a little color at the bottom while the hands seemed to have gotten a little frayed but the rest looks clean. Overall it's a great piece to be admired and I wish you good luck with your future canvas of choice.

thanks for the review!

I'm a struggling flash artist trying his best to come up with a decent flash and submit it to newgrounds. If I can improve my drawing skills then my flashes will greatly improve until then I'm stuck with crappy flash projects.
